FRIDAY - Buenos Aires Arrival
Welcome to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina that is commonly referred to as the "Paris of South America." This complex, energetic port city, which stretches south-to-north along the Rio de la Plata, has been the gateway to Argentina for centuries. Portenos, as the multinational people of Buenos Aires are known, possess an elaborate and rich cultural identity.

SATURDAY - Buenos Aires City Tour
Group breakfast in hotel. Discover the magic of Buenos Aires! Created for first-time visitors, your city tour includes the beautiful parks and gardens of the Recoleta and Palermo neighborhoods, the Colon Theater, Mayo Square, the Cathedral, traditional Mayo Avenue, Congress Square, and many other buildings and palaces of special architectural, historical and cultural note. Conclude with a visit to Caminito Street in La Boca, a colorful neighborhood of Italian immigrants.

SUNDAY -
Cordoba/ Cordoba Homestay

Cordoba is popularly known as "La Docta", This historical city was born by linking The Alto Peru with The Rio de la Plata in the so-called Camino Real. Cordoba is the second largest city in Argentina and the most important one in the central region of the country. Cordoba beautifully blends typical city attractions with a lifestyle in contact with nature.

YOUR MIDDLE CLASS HOST FAMILIES are selected and monitored by the native resident director of COINED. Participants normally share with one other group member of the same general language ability. Students share a private bedroom and a bathroom with the family.

Most homes are within a five to thirty-minute walk from the school. Roundtrip private transportation is provided if a home is located farther away. Everyone is expected to practice their Spanish in the home. Host families furnish all meals.




MONDAY-FRIDAY - Spanish Classes &
COINED was founded in 1971. It's conveniently located in the center of the city, ten minutes away from the main square, Plaza San Martin. Facilities include eleven classrooms, meeting room, a terrace with a beautiful view of the city, swimming pool, and free internet access.

Your special Junior Program combines four hours of daily group lessons plus student . Your program is specially created to improve your Spanish skills while providing a challenge to experience the fun and excitement of discovering a new culture. Teachers provide the linguistic tools necessary to communicate successfully with your host families as well as the locals. Students experience through educational games and out-of-class activities.

Standard include a city tour, Tango lessons, and volunteer project, such as Salt & Light.

Additional are organized regarding the specific interests of your group (minimum 12 students). Select two at time of enrollment: futbol matches, Salsa lessons, Tango Show, Argentine movie at the City Hall cinema, or a visit to the Jesuit ruins.

SATURDAY - Horseback Riding & Trekking
Enjoy a half day excursion to the Condorito Mountains for a half-day of horseback riding and trekking. Meet at the school in the evening for your farewell fiesta and barbeque.

SUNDAY - Buenos Aires / Departure USA
Farewell to host families. Flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer to the international airport for your overnight flight to the USA. Arrival in USA on Monday.
